I'm going to buy the game, but I can't say that I will be hyped up for it. The first Mass Effect had great potential, but failed to uphold my expectations. It was still a really good game though. I'm really interested in a new combat system and cannot wait to see the dialogue system. The combat in ME was so bland, but thankfully the story made up for it. I really liked how dialogue was invisioned in the game, but the repititions in the conversations drove me insane. I'm glad they fixed the loading elevaters, those were so stupid. |

This game will surely be a definite buy for me. I've completely fallen in love with the Mass Effect series and read both of the books released so far. If it's anyone on Spartan Dominion keeping close tabs upon Mass Effect 2, it's me for sure. I love Futuristic Space Drama's like Star Wars and now Mass Effect has been added to that list and has already, with just two books, a completely in depth universe and amazing game & story has tied itself with my favorite nonfictional stories of all time, the other being Star Wars of course. Hell, you could even say Mass Effect is above Star Wars, but only by a small margin of course. |

No u. For Mass Effect, it wasn't really the actual story that encompassed me, it was the way the story was told. The dialogue and cinematics were just phenomenal. With that said, talking to the minor AI got old really fast. I havn't read the books for Mass Effect, but I surely wouldn't put it in front of Star Wars. I think that the Halo fiction is leaps and bounds ahead of ME's, with the multiple books and games. |

Well I'm glad Tru7h liked it, feel free to view the poll above. I may be interested in creating other topics like this one with collected information regarding said games if Tru7h allows it, depending on the usefulness of this topic. Just something I'd like to begin on Spartan Dominion so we are all kept up to date on future games that we're interested in. |

I can't wait for Mass Effect 2, seeing as the first is one of my favorite 360 games. I have a little wish list for it, and hopefully most of these things will be fixed in the sequel: 1. Do something about repetitive planet exploration. I was so sick of doing the same exact things on most planets. 2. Reduce Mako travel to a minimum, or fix the handling on it. It's terrible in the original. 3. Get rid of elevator loads. (check) 4. BETTER AUTO SAVE SYSTEM. First one pissed me off to no end. 5. Stop trying to overflow the 360. I hated having to watch textures load before my eyes all the time. 6. Make it harder to make money, please. Oh, and I voted the thread as helpful. |

To add to Hobbes' list, please please please, make the combat system more interesting. I swear, I felt like I was playing Turok for the N64. Not to rip on N64 FPSs, but cmon now, its 2009. The combat system is just so bland and uneventful. Possibly enhance squad commands like in KOTOR. Making new weapons more unique would be sweet too. |

The only reason I thought the combat got a little boring was because: A) It was too easy later in the game B) The indoor environments were almost all identical for anything outside the main quest (and even for some inside). That second one doesn't even apply to only combat, but also the whole game in general. |

I never felt like the game was challenging on the normal difficulty while using my godly pistol/shotgun combo. Pistol was as good as a sniper at distance and the shotgun raped at short range. I went through on the harder difficulty with the assault rifle and it was even easier. The AR in ME is just way too powerful. There is just a huge lack of variety in the combat system. I mean, it was fun for a little bit, but it gets very liniear very fast. I hope they make a useful cover system or make the combat much more faster paced, like Halo. And yea, exploring planets was terrible. |

I want to see an extension in direct and player integrated combat, enhanced story driven quests, better planet exploration and also my biggest one is no cutting down the Romance subplot just because FOX news was retarded. The Romance was amazing for the game and really got the players into it. This is an integral part of Space Operas, don't make it childish for younger audiences when this is an adult game. By the way, new wallpapers up. |

I think the romance was at the proper level for the first game, so I don't think it should be changed for the sequel. No need to add in random five minute sex scenes like movies do. And isn't it just a tad coincidental that the blue alien specie's anatomy resembled that of a female human's? |

It's like watching the SI bodypaint cover and then a non painted person... same thing, right? Everyone knows that blue space aliens will be hot. |

It would be creepy if the Asari had the same color tones as humans. It'd make them seem like mutated humans instead of being a different species/sexy "female only" aliens. |
